Last Night in Soho is a 2021 British psychological horror film directed by Edgar Wright and co-written by Wright and Krysty Wilson-Cairns.
A project of this magnitude comes with its own set of obstacles.
I was leading the team through a mirror sequence in which the protagonist, Ellie, is having intense dreams in which she is transported back to the 1960s, and Sandy appears in her reflection every time she looks in the mirror. It was a challenging job to add sand to the reflections of mirrors and to give the raw shooted plates a mirror feel.

The intense riot scene outside the White House required extensive environment work due to the strict filming restrictions on location. For the exterior, shot on Pennsylvania Avenue, our team added rioting crowds and police barriers while reverting the street to its 1980’s appearance.
Shots from the interior set required a mix of lasso work, face replacements and rig removals. Closely collaborating with the original film scans, we also treated wardrobe malfunctions — things get intense, after all! For the lasso, our team modified motion-blur mapping to maintain fine textural detail, and added a bias to the weighting to ensure the lasso looked beautiful and powerful, just like our hero.

I was responsible to lead the team and to add visual effects in all 260 degree angle in car chasing sequence.

The Limit explores a 220-degree field of view, which is a completely new format that bridges the gap between traditional widescreen and 360-degree video.
